With the approval of the Sant Andreu de la Barca City Council for the project that we have presented jointly with Batlle i Roig, the new walkway for pedestrians and bicycles will become a reality, from the equipment island to the Central Park.
We are very satisfied, once again, to be able to collaborate and build for our neighbors, we hope to start the work during this second quarter.
This project culminates a whole series of proposals analyzed over the last 20 years to respond to the desire of the Sant Andreu de la Barca City Council to improve mobility between the two sides of the railway.
The difference in level between the east and west faces of the footbridge, plus the gauges that must be respected on the train tracks, have forced extensive development of the footbridge on its east side. In this way it is guaranteed that the access ramps to the walkway are suitable for any type of user, with maximum comfort.
